Collective agreements

Your collective agreement sets out your rights and responsibilities at work.  If you have any concerns about your treatment, please talk to your steward or a member of the executive.

Our bylaws set out the rules for how our local democratically elects our representatives, and how it is run.

 

Benefits

Health benefits for CUPE 5200 members are bargained in the collective agreement and provided through the CUPE Education Workers Benefit Trust (EWBT).

If you feel you are being unreasonably denied benefits you should receive, please talk to your steward or your unit VP.

Pensions

Pensions for CUPE 5200 members are negotiated as part of the collective agreement and are provided through the OMERS pension plan.  If you have a question about your pension rights and can't get a good answer from the employer, talk to your steward or a member of the executive.
