CUPE Local 5200 represents over 1200 Educational Assistants, Designated Early Childhood Educators, and LINC/ESL instructors working for the Halton Catholic District School Board, supporting student learning.

Through collective strength, we champion quality public education and the vital role of support staff in shaping our communities.
CUPE Local 5200 is part of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, the largest union in Canada, with 750,000 members across the country. CUPE represents workers in health care, emergency services, education, early learning and child care, municipalities, social services, libraries, utilities, transportation, airlines and more.
CUPE Local 5200 is a member of the Ontario School Board Council of Unions (OSBCU), which unites 55,000 CUPE education workers in the Public, Catholic, English, and French school systems across the province.
